Obituary of Agnes Dorothy Nemec Klekar
Agnes Dorothy Nemec Klekar, 90, of Luling, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019. She was born January 19, 1929 in Midfield, Texas, the daughter of Charles and Eufrasina Foytik Nemec. She was a graduate of South West Texas State and taught elementary school for many years. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She is survived by her sons: Clarence Klekar and wife Deborah of Luling, Christopher Klekar and Danny Frerich of Dallas, Robert Klekar and longtime girlfriend Donna Ting of Smithville and Richard Klekar and fiancé Dorian Nogueira Ribeiro of Austin; Grandchildren: Jacquelyn Klekar of Euless and Richard Allen Talavera-Klekar of Austin; Brother: Richard Nemec and wife Nenette of Katy; Sister: Georgia Dorotik of Taiton. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Fred Klekar, brothers: Charles Nemec Jr., Joseph Nemec and Anton Nemec, sisters: Marie Nemec Hickl, Elizabeth Nemec Pesak and Annie Nemec Kana. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 13 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at O’Bannon Funeral Home, followed by the Rosary at 7 p.m. The Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday, November 14 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Reverend Howard Goertz officiating. Interment will follow at St. John Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers include Mark Janik, Vincent Nemec, Tony Naiser, Bennie Pierce, Richard Nemec and Albert Rucka. Arrangements are under the care and direction of O’Bannon Funeral Home 210 S. Laurel, Luling, TX.
