Charles Aubrey Burris, went to be with the Lord on August 17, 2023. He was born December 31, 1946 to Charles Laverne & Mary Milliken Burris in Luling Texas. He was married to Sharon Thomas for 25 years and then married Nathalie Dauder in Luling, Texas.
Charles graduated from Luling High School in 1966, then served in the Coast Guard for 4 years,traveling all over the South Pacific.He graduated from the University of Texas in Arlington, and worked in the Oil & Gas Business for most of his life. He was a lover of family, sports, poker, and history. .
Charles is survived by his sister, Ginger Powell of Luling; daughters, Jennifer Dibble of Bellingham, WA, Brooke Williams of Wildwood, FL, & Lola Burris of Austin, TX. Son, Zachary Burris of Euless, TX; 6 Grandchildren & 2 Great Grandchildren.
Graveside Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday September 16, 2023 at the Luling Cemetery.
