Deborah Ann Perry of Harwood, Texas, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024. She was 68. She was born to William Almas Perry and Annie Jo Perry (Johnson) on July 10, 1955, in Luling, Texas.
Deborah graduated from Buffalo High School in Buffalo, Missouri, in 1973 and enlisted in the Air Force. She served from 1973 to 1985 first as security police and then transitioning to bookkeeping. After her discharge, she went to work for the Internal Revenue Service in Austin, Texas, as a Revenue Officer, combining her experience in law enforcement and accounting.
After her retirement from the Internal Revenue Service she shared a home with her mother, Annie Jo Perry until failing health and mobility had her move in with her sister, Peggy Perry, in Harwood, Texas.
Deborah was predeceased by her father William Perry in 1992, and her younger sister Juliette Perry in 2022. She is survived by her mother Annie Jo Perry, and three sisters, Peggy Perry, Cheryl Muhle, and Natalie Perry.
Services will be at the Harwood Baptist Church in Harwood, Texas on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at 3 PM. Internment will be at Hall Cemetery.
