Deltha Mae Zander born October 7th, 1937, was 85 years old when she went to be with the Lord on January 3rd, 2023. She is survived by her children, Curtis & Sarah Weber of Luling, Tx, Clint Weber of Statesville, NC, Monte Hoke of Kingsbury, Tx, and David & Michelle Weber of Canyon Lake, Tx; grandchildren, Chad and Eva Williams, Josh & Macy Levesque, Justin & Katie Weber, Christopher & Marisa Hoke, Aaron Weber, Jade Weber, DelaMarie Hoke, Faithe and Edwardo Silvestre, JohnClifton & Jessica Hoke, Katherine Weber, and Clay Weber; great-grandchildren Jeremia Levesque, Ashton Williams, Skylynn Williams, Hailey Hoke, Riley Weber, Lynli Williams, Kaylee Smith, Aidan Hoke, Kodi Weber, and Quinby Weber.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Cleveland Clifton Weber, who she met at Prairie Lea High School and married on July 28th, 1956. In addition to her husband, Deltha is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two sisters, four brother in-laws, and three sister in-laws.
Deltha spent many of her years enjoying the outdoors with family and friends whether it was spent on hot days at the lake or in a deer stand. She was also known by the local students to have the most vibrant and beautiful garden in Luling, Tx. Often, students would stop by her house to admire the beauty she had sowed with her hands. No one who met Deltha forgot her infectious personality and her love for music. Deltha was a devoted mother and deeply rooted her family in Christ. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, community, and all that knew her.
A visitation service will be held on January 6th, 2023 from 5-7 p.m. at O’Bannon Funeral Home 210 S. Laurel Ave, Luling, Tx 78648.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on January 7th, 2023, at O’Bannon Funeral Homes 210 S. Laurel Ave, Luling, Tx 78648. Pastor Mannuel O. Casso Sr. will officiate. Donations can be made to the Kingsbury Baptist Church or Guadalupe Regional Hospice Services.
