Obituary for Dennis Clay Aldis

Dennis Clay Aldis, 60 of Luling, went to be with the Lord on January 14, 2021. Born to Willard & Lillie Neumann Aldis on September 3, 1960 in Cuero, Texas. On August 17, 1979 he married Vivian Julene Musick at the Central Baptist Church of Luling. He worked as a supervisor with Royal Rebar of Houston, TX. Owner and operator of Aldis Welding.

Dennis is survived by his mother, Lillie Aldis of Cheapside, TX. Wife, Julene Aldis of Luling. Sons. Chris Aldis of Gonzales, TX, & Derek & Sabrina Aldis of Luling, TX. 3 grandchildren, Audrey Dennison, Christian Aldis, & Evelyn Aldis. Sister, Debbie & Wayne Rose of Cuero, TX. Brothers, Joe & Shirley Aldis of Victoria, TX, Gerald Aldis of Cheapside, TX. Brother-in-law, Jack & Teresa Musick of Luling, TX. Numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Willard Aldis.

Private family Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday January 20, 2021 at O'Bannon Funeral Home. Graveside Funeral Services will be held at the Luling Cemetery at 11:00 AM Wednesday January 20, 2021 with all be welcome.

Pallbearers are Kallen Kidd, Mark Taylor, Chris Jabsen, Danny Wofford, Dylan Gonzales, & Jason Kimball. Honorary Pallbearers are Jack Musick, Ronny Kidd, Wayne Watts, Paul Mikesh, Kenneth Larison, Bryan Larison, Richard Kimball, Scooter Collier, Doyle Wayne Watts, & John Fuqua.

Due to current CDC, State and local mandates, protective measures regarding social distancing, limited attendance capacity, and use of personal protective masks will be required for the visitation, chapel service and graveside burial rite. Services are under the care and direction of O'Bannon Funeral Home.
