Obituary for Douglas Wayne Gyger
Douglas Wayne Gyger, 59, of Luling, passed away Friday, May 20, 2022. He was born on November 5, 1962 in Houston, to Diane Pinkston and Edwin Gilmer Gyger.
Doug is survived by his father, Edwin Gyger, step-mother, Charlotte Gyger Hodnett, sister, Lori Gyger Vaughn and husband Steve Erickson of Maxwell, niece, Meghan Vaughn and husband Travis Motloch of Jonestown, great-niece, Aaliyah Motloch, great-nephew, Hunter Motloch, and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 9 to 11 AM, in Seydler-Hill Funeral Home in Gonzales. A graveside service will follow at 3 PM in the Field's Store Community Cemetery in Waller, Texas. Pallbearers include: Steve Erickson, Travis Motloch, Bill Roberds, Jerry Bartlett, and Mike Nigh.
Services are under the care and direction of O'Bannon Funeral Home.
