Francisca Gonzalez was born on September 23, 1931 in El Alamo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Tomas and Francisca Delgado Salinas. On August 31, 2023, at the age of 91, she passed away peacefully in her home and went to be with the Lord. She was married to her husband Ramon Gonzalez on December 29, 1951, and together they raised a beautiful family. Known as Wela to everyone, including people who were not directly related to her, she loved her grandchildren very much and loved cooking for them. She was a woman of faith that truly enjoyed reading The Bible. She also enjoyed socializing with her friends and tending to her plants and flowers.

She will be deeply missed and will forever be in our hearts.
Francisca is survived by children, Julio Gonzalez and wife Margarita, Sigifredo Gonzalez Sr. and wife Maria, Blanca Estela Gutierrez and husband Leo, Roel Gonzalez and wife Maria, Regino Gonzalez and wife Martha, Cruz Gonzalez, Ezequiel Gonzalez, Concepcion Gonzalez and wife Melissa, and Mario Gonzalez and wife Vicenta; 26 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; along with other family members and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ramon, daughter Maria De La Luz, and grandchildren, Maribel Ramon Gonzalez, Sigifredo Gonzalez Jr. and Angelita Rosas.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the O’Bannon Funeral Home in Luling, TX.
Funeral Services will take place Sunday, September 3, 2023 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Mario Alberto Gonzalez officiating at the O’Bannon Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Community Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ramon Gonzalez, Juan Ramon Fructuoso, Roy Medina, II, Zenon Fructuoso, Jr, Joel Gonzalez, & Adam Gonzalez.
