Jeanine Genevieve Etheredge of Luling, Texas died Thursday, October 20, 2022 at the age of 87 years old. Jeanine was born in Yorktown, Texas on December15, 1934. Her family moved to Luling where she graduated from Luling High School in 1953. On August 28th of that same year she married Raymond Etheredge. They were married for 53 years until his death in 2005.They had two children La Rae and Randal. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Luling, TX.
She is survived by her daughter, La Rae Brysch and husband Ronnie, and son Randal Etheredge all of Luling, Three grandchildren Chad Brysch(Alyssa), Mason Etherege(Devan), and Erin Sekula(Andy). She has three great-grandsons, Logan, Spencer, and Grayson Brysch with a fourth due in March, baby Sekula. She also has one great-granddaughter Reagan Etheredge.
She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond, brother Benno Franke, and sisters Juanita Rackley, Etta Foster, Vivian Strelzyk and Lola Teschendorf. The funeral service will be held at First United Methodist Church of Luling on Friday, October 28, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. followed by interment at Luling City Cemetery. Following the interment there will be a reception at the church. The service will be officiated by Allen Davis.
Serving as pallbearers are Carroll Etheredge, Cotton Etheredge, Kenneth Foster, Adam Intfen, Brian Kriss, and Dwayne Teshendorf. Honorary pallbearers are Alvie Etheredge, James Novak, Andy Sekula, Carroll Teschendorf and Bryon Strelzyk.
