Obituary for Juan Cardenas Jr.
Juan Cardenas, Jr. 73 of Luling, died December 7, 2020 in Luling. He was born March 18, 1947 in Seguin, Texas to Juan R. & Edwina Sandival Cardenas, Sr. On September 16, 1965 he married Elena Deleon in Seguin, Texas. He worked in the oil field as a tool pusher.
He is survived by his wife, Elena Cardenas of Luling. Daughters, Consuelo Ramos of Luling, and Debbie Cardenas of Luling, and son-in-law Johnny David Garcia, Sr. Six grandchildren, Jose Estrada, Priscilla Estrada, Victor Estrada, Victoria Garcia, Johnny Garcia, Jr., & Stephanie Garcia. 18 Great grandchildren. Two sisters, Maria Gallegos of San Marcos, and Guadalupe “Lupe” Alarcon. Two brothers, Carlos Cardenas of Luling and Martin Cardenas of California.
He is preceded in death by his parents, One sister, Francisca Cardenas, One brother, Domingo Cardenas.
There will be visitation starting at 5:00 PM Thursday December 17 at O’Bannon Funeral Home
A Memorial Services will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday December 17th at O’Bannon Funeral Home with Father Howard Goertz officiating.
“Due to current CDC, State and local mandates, protective measures regarding social distancing, limited attendance capacity, and use of personal protective masks will be required for the visitation, chapel service and graveside burial rite. Services are under the care and direction of O’Bannon Funeral Home”
