Karon Sue Otto Pettus, known to her friends as Sue was born in Luling, Texas on February 24, 1944 to Frank and Gladys Otto. She was married to (Samuel) David Pettus on February 14, 1964 in Luling, Texas. Sue worked for Luling Machine and Iron Works for many years until the doors closed in 1995. She then went to work for the Texas Parks and Wildlife in the Revenue Branch until her retirement on June 30 2007. Sue enjoyed people of all ages, she loved to make you laugh and always had a smile on her face. She only had 2 biological children, but helped raise many, it was nothing for her to get up on a Saturday morning to find ten kids sleeping on the floor in the living room.
She is survived by her husband, David Pettus; children Nikki Rodriguez, Kelly and Preston Hoff; grandchild Stephanie Schweers; Sister Linda and Don Bedwell and James and Dorothy Tipton. Great Grandchildrren; Landon David Thomas and Sean Thomas. Also numerous, nieces, nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers; Duane abd J. B. Otto.
