Lillian “Lily” Bludau Weber, 88, of Luling, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022. She was born October 27, 1933 in Shiner to August and Tillie Bludau. Lily was a homemaker. She married the love of her life, Henry J Weber on February 16, 1952 in Shiner and they celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in 2017. Lily was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church, a Eucharistic Minister and part of the church’s Alter Society. She loved to watch the birds, chase the squirrels away and enjoy the rain from the back porch. To her family and many others, she was known as “Nana”. She adored her girls and all the grandkids and great grandkids. Her face would light up when any of them walked into a room. She enjoyed passing along cooking traditions like pickling, pie making and her famous potato salad. When possible, she would attend games and other events the grandkids and great grandkids were involved with. Our Nana was one of the strongest and most dedicated ladies to her faith and family and kept us all in line with her strong willed loved. She always gave, was a helping hand and took care of her family and friends. Nana was our role model.
