Obituary for Marcelino Flores Sr.
Marcelino Flores, Sr., went to be with the Lord on November 11, 2021 in his home in Luling. Marcelino was born July 17, 1947 to Tiburcio & Angelina Garcia Flores. In 1967 he married Lydia Mendoza in Luling. He worked for many years as a butcher.
He is survived by his wife Lydia Flores of Luling. 6 daughters, Monica Flores of Luling, Susana Pina of Luling, Anna Lugo of Luling, Stephanie Flores of Luling, Elizabeth Reyes of Luling, and Ruth Coronado of Harlingen, Texas. 5 sons, Marcelino Flores, JR of Luling, Matthew Flores of San Marcos, Stevan Flores of Kyle, Israel Flores of Luling, Samuel Flores of Luling. 30 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. 2 sisters, Mickela Corinado of Luling, and Cecilia Rodriguez of San Antonio.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 son, James Flores and 1 brother, Margarito Flores.
Graveside Services were held at 2:00 PM Monday November 15, 2021 at the Community Cemetery in Luling with Pastor Abiathar Hernandez officiating.
