Margaret “Maggie” Magallanez, age 55, of Luling went to the Lord on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Dell Seton Hospital in Austin, Tx. She was born on October 1, 1965 in Luling, Tx the daughter of Jose Maria and Jesusita Mendez. Maggie was preceded in death by her daughter- in -law, Kailyn Gann and sister Carmen Mendez.
Maggie was a twenty-five-year employee of Walmart in San Marcos, Tx. She was known to be a loving, caring, selfless person who loved to take care of her husband, children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her parents, Jose Maria and Jesusita; loving husband, Abel Magallanez of Luling; 3 Sons: Gabriel L Mendez and wife Chastity H Mendez, Abel Magallanez Jr and Zachary Kane Magallanez; 8 Grandchildren: Valorie A. Rodriguez, Alexis M. Lopez, German Martinez, Anthony Garcia, Natalee R Magallanez, Daniel Magallanez, Zachary “Kane” Magallanez Jr, Isaiah A Magallanez; 2 Great Grandchildren: Sebastian Rodriguez and Liam A Hernandez; brothers and sisters: Johnnie, Linda, Joe, Rosa, Shelia, Earnest, Joanna, Mary, and Michael.
There will be a Celebration of life service on Saturday the 18th at 10 a.m... This will be held at the Maranatha Christian Fellowship Church, at 2356 S. State Highway 80, Luling, Tx 78648. Friends may pay their respects at that time.
