Maria Gonzales Paredes, of Luling, Texas died in Austin on July 8, 2020 at the age of 93. Born March 10, 1927 to Liborio & Rosario Dominguez Gonzales in Zapata, Texas. She married Baldeman “Bronco” Paredes on July 14, 1952 in Zapata, Texas. Survivors are Maria & Alvin Holt of Conroe, TX, Elsa & Scott Gilley of Mansfield, TX, & Marinela & Alvin LaFleur of Elgin, Texas. Sons, Juan & Carla Paredes of Luling, Texas, Joe & Anna Paredes of El Paso, Texas, Jorge & Flora Paredes of Dumas, Texas, 14 Grandchildren , eleven Great Grandchildren & 2 Great, Great ,Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Pall Bearers were Joege Paredes, Joe Paredes, Scott Gilley, Austin Ruckle, Justin Holt & Carl Branson Townsend. Honorary Pallbearers were Juan Paredes, Alvin Holt & Mark LaFleur.
Funeral Services were held Wed July 15th at O’Bannon Funeral Home with Father Mark Bigley officiating. Interment will be in the Luling Cemetery
