Patty Jean Batey went to be with our Lord and Savior on February 3, 2021 with her family by her side. She was born in Kingsbury, Texas on June 22, 1940 to Irma Donsbach Oliver and Thomas Charles Oliver. She was baptized, confirmed and married in the Kingsbury Evangelist’s Lutheran Church. Patty married Phillip Mark Batey on September 3, 1960 and they were blessed with 4 children.

Patty is preceded in death by her parents, son, Damon Wayne Batey, and grandson, Jason Mark Burt. She is survived by her husband, Phillip M. Batey, her children, Crystal M. & Doyle Burt, Allen M. Batey, Michelle E. & Robert Magee, 5 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday February 6, in the Kingsbury Cemetery with Pastor Danny Chambers officiating. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Landon Burt, Holden Burt, Baylei Burt, Daulton Burt, David Abel, & Cody Breest. Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Banner Burt, Layne Burt, & Phillip Taruer.
