Obituary for Rose Marie Thurman (Lewis)
Rose Marie Thurman 92, of Luling, Texas passed away November 22, 2022 in Luling. Born February 13, 1930 in Beaumont, Texas to Ralph A “GUS” & Marie Stabler Lewis. She married Richard Waverly Thurman on June 13, 1953 in Austin, Texas. Rose worked as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
She is survived by a daughter, Shelley Louise & David Parks of Goliad, Tx. Son, Richard Lewis Thurman of Luling, Tx., 5 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph A. “Gus” & Marie Stabler Lewis and her husband Richard Waverly Thurman.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday December 3, at O’Bannon Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Luling Cemetery.
