Russell Wayne Murphy, 75 of Goodyear, Arizona, died July 9, 2022. He was born April 6, 1947 to Fred W. & Haddie Choate Murphy in Luling, Texas. After graduating from High School, he joined the United States Navy. After which he worked as a driller in the oil field.
He is survived by his son, Jay Lee Murphy of Tulsa, OK. Sisters, Lola & Ray Willis of Roswell, NM, & Karon Murphy of Austin, Tx. Brother, John L. Murphy of Sulphur, LA.
Graveside Services were held at 9:00 AM Tuesday July 26, 2022 at the Prairie Lea Memorial Cemetery, with Rev. Jimmy Lammers officiating. Services under the direction of O’Bannon Funeral Home, 210 S. Laurel, Luling, TX 78648 (830) 875-5713
