Obituary for Santiago Gallegos DeLeon Jr.
Santiago Gallegos DeLeon, Jr. went to be with the Lord on September 7, 2020, at the age of 54. He was born April 24, 1966 to Satiago Gallegos DeLeon, Sr. and Maria Anita Cardenas DeLeon in Seguin, Texas. He worked in the Oil Field.
He is survived by his Mother, Maria Anita Gallegos of San Marcos, Father, Santaigo Gallegos DeLeon, SR. of Luling. Daughter, Ebeline DeLeon of San Marcos, 4 Grandchildren Nathaniel Noel DeLeon, Dianeli Ilene Zuniga, Israel Trinidad Zuniga, & Inaya Jocelyn Tierrablanca, 4 sisters, Evangeline DeLeon of Bastrop, Tx, Rosita DeLeon of San Marcos, Dora Reyes of Paige, TX, & Esperanza Quinero of Round Rock, 1 Son, Guadalupe DeLeon of Gonzales, TX.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, September 11, 2020 in O'Bannon Funeral Home. The Holy Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. following visitation. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday September 12th at St. John’s Catholic Church with Father Howard Goertz officiating. Burial will follow in the St. John’s Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ricky Rodriguez,Jr., Steve Gonzales, Jesse Hernandez, Lupe Bosquez, Frank Bosquez, Jose Angel Galvan, Gilbert Guzman, & Mark Guzman.
Due to current CDC, State and local mandates, protective measures regarding social distancing, limited attendance capacity, and use of personal protective masks will be required for the funeral mass, and graveside burial rite. Those remotely symptomatic of COVID-19 are politely asked not to attend.
