Sherman Williamson, 95 of Luling, Texas went to be with the Lord on February 15, 2023. Born July 6, 1927 in Houston County, Texas to Jasper P. & Willie Beulah Hartnett Williamson. He married Joyce Gerlene Rochester on December 20, 1947 in Luling, Texas. He worked as a carpenter.

Sherman is survived by his daughter, Sue Knetig of Elgin, Texas. Two sons, Boyce & Patricia Williamson of Luling, Texas, and Gary & Diana Williamson of Hobbs, New Mexico. Also 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Brother, John Williamson od Applesprings, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, Michael Earl Williamson, grandson Matthew Dwayne Williamson.

Visitation will be held starting at 11:00 AM Sunday February 19, 2023 at O’Bannon Funeral Home. Services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday February 19, 2023 at O’Bannon Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Summers officiating. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday February 20, 2023 at the Antioch Cemetery in Lovelady, Texas with Rev. M. D. Morris officiating.
