Obituary for Valree Gale Kozik (Taylor)
Valree Gale Kozik, 77, of Luling, went to be with the Lord on April 23, 2021 in Luling. She was born September 7, 1943 in Taylor, TX. to Christopher Cornelious & Margie Fay Orme Taylor. She married Stanley Walter Kozik on March 20, 2001 in Luling. Valree worked in the personnel department of the Austin Police Department.
She is survived by her husband, Stan Kozik of Luling. Daughter, Kim & Fred Fischer of Taylor, TX. Sons, Timothy & Leah Kozik of Elkhart, TX, Joseph Kozik of Luling, TX, Eugene Koschel of Raleigh, NC. 4 Grandchildren, Austin Fischer, Kristopher Fischer, Marki Fischer, Skylar Fischer, and 1 great grandchild, Blake Fischer. Brother, Gene & Cheryl Taylor of San Antonio, TX. And numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Joyce Tharpe & Janie Park.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday May 1, 2021 at the McNeil Baptist Church with the Rev. Rick Perkins officiating. Graveside services will follow in the McNeil Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Timothy Kozik, Joseph Kozik, Nicolas Kozik, Fred Fischer, Randy Martin, & Larry Patton.
Services will be under the direction of O’Bannon Funeral Home"
