Vona Mae Ussery, 89, of Luling, went to be with the Lord on December 28, 2023. She was born October 10, 1934 in Bay City, Texas to Avon C. & Ina Mae Woodson Harter. She married Abner Ussery, Jr. and was a homemaker. Vona enjoyed going to thrift stores and yard sales.
Vona is survived by her son and his wife, Abner & Lisa Ussery, III of Luling. Granddaughter Nicole Ussery, grandson Michael & his wife Katie Ussery. Great Grandchildren are Kase & Karson Ussery.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
