Obituary for Wesley Dale Davis
On Monday, November 13, 2023, Wesley Dale Davis, a beloved son and father, passed away. He was born on October 18, 1980, to Della Davis in Phoenix, AZ. Wesley loved Arizona, the Phoenix Suns, the Cardinals, his mom’s collard greens, fishing with his Uncle Jr and above all, his family, for whom he had unconditional love.
Wesley built strong bonds by sharing his wisdom, humor, cheerfulness, and love. You could always find him smiling and singing his favorite songs, usually for others' entertainment. He had a big heart, and his playful energy was contagious. He was a talented poet and used his writing to express himself, his love for his family, and to share his knowledge.
Wesley is preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Lou Elrod and brother, Joshua Dean Davis. He is survived by his mother, Della, his children Wesley Jr. and AnJanette, his sisters, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon to 1:30 PM Wednesday November 29, 2023 at O’Bannon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm Wednesday November 29, 2023 Graveside at the McNeil Cemetery.
Services are under the care and direction of O’Bannon Funeral Home.
